Description

Long (15 – 30 minutes) and clean traffic/city atmospheres recorded from a 3rd-floor balcony above the busy multilane street Bornholmer Straße located in the northern part of Prenzlauer Berg.
The recordings contain traffic in different densities from rush hour to sparse passbys of single cars and trucks at night. Some recordings include (occasional) footsteps and voices of pedestrians, cyclists, and the characteristic Berlin Tram, as well as some german police/ambulance sirens.

All sounds were recorded at different times (day / night), in dry and rainy conditions with a Neumann TLM103 stereo pair in AB configuration into a Sound Devices USBpre 2 preamp.
